Product Overview
The KYN28-12 armoured, withdrawable, metal-enclosed switchgear is suitable for 3.6–12 kV three-phase 50 Hz
AC power networks, serving to receive and distribute electrical energy, as well as to control, monitor and protect
circuits. It may be used in single-busbar, single-busbar sectioned or double-busbar systems. The switchgear
complies with the requirements of IEC 298 ‘Metal-enclosed switchgear and controlgear for alternating current
systems of rated voltages above 1 kV and up to and including 52 kV’, IEC 694 ‘Common provisions for high
voltage switchgear and controlgear’, China’s GB 3906-2006 ‘Metal-enclosed switchgear and controlgear for
alternating current systems of 3.6 kV to 40.5 kV’, and the German standard DIN/VDE 0670 ‘AC Switchgear for
Rated Voltages Above 1 kV’, amongst others. It is also equipped with comprehensive and reliable anti
misoperation functions.
