( H) RW-12 Drop type fuses

Product Overview

A fuse is a switching device that breaks the circuit by melting the fuse element using the
heat generated by the device itself when the current exceeds a specified value for a
certain period of time. A drop-out fuse is a type of fuse in which the fuse element
automatically drops out after tripping, thereby creating an open circuit. The RW, HRW,
PRWG and HPIRWG series of drop-out fuses are suitable for use in 50 Hz AC power
systems with voltages ranging from 10 kV to 35 kV, providing short-circuit and overload
protection for transmission lines and power transformers.
